Vincent had made his way down to the shop floor of the two story building rather hesitant. It was a lovely Saturday morning and he would have loved to go to the park but instead his sister had left him in charge for a few hours. She had a council meeting this morning, meaning it was one of the rare times her baby brother would be left along in the shop. He adjusted his bright red turtle neck some as he remained behind the counter. He was rather glad it was low enough for him to use without a struggle but that did nothing to help his nervousness. His hands were twisting at the dark grey blanket he currently had across his lap so as to cover his legs up as he hoped no customers would come in while he was in charge. Nimble fingers moved over the counter before getting a pen and paper and starting to doodle, a strange grumble of s hum trying to mske it's way out of the throat. Try all he might there was much damage to them that they would never work right again but Vincent didn't seem to mind.Outfit

Hunter and his foster father got into another fight, chasing the young werewolf out of the house while screaming crude names at the boy. Hunter luckily had his black bag with him that contained his phone and Ipad that his foster mother gave to him, he used it now as his notebook to write songs. He just walked into town, trying to hide the fact that he had been crying and slow down his heart beat.
He didn't want to live with them anymore, his foster mom was very sweet to him.....and his foster dad was at time but when the man started drinking is when all shit hit the fan. He walked down the street, earbuds in to keep his mind off things and stopped for some reason in-front of a shop. He looked inside, seeing the different costumes. It was some Masqurade shop, he had walked by it before but never took the time to look inside. He saw a young boy behind the counter and decided to just see what they had. He opened the door, closing it and looked down at the ground as he walked over to the rows of cloths that were hanging and started to go through them.

Vincent had greatly absorbed himself into his doodles that he gave a slight jump at the chime on the door going off. He looked up with wide green eyes before his humming finally stopped. He carefully put the pen down and observed the other quietly. He would have asked if the guy needed help with anything but his lack of voice prevented that. He could use the speech app on his phone to talk for him, but he always felt even more abnormal than he already is having to use it. He let out a sigh as he nervously pulled on his sleeves, trying his best to distract himself. He bit his lip for a moment before reaching under the counter and grabbing his small dry erase board and a marker. Carefully he man oversee himself from behind the counter and over to the customer. his sister would have wanted him to at least try to help while she was away. Carefully he wrote out words onto his board, holding it up with slightly shaking hands as he remained in a place near the other.
"Can I help you with anything? I'm Vincent,"
One could see by his expression he was very much awkward at what he was having to do at the moment.

Hunter looked through the racks of cloths and found a long, black hooded cape that he took off from the rack and examined it. He looked back at the boy and saw what he wrote on a board."I'm fine thanks...." He said and went back to looking at the cape before putting it back. He wondered if this place was ever really business all year. He couldn't see a lot of people coming in and buying costumes all year round.
He sigh softly and turned back to the boy behind the counter."Do you normally work here?" He asked curiously. This was the first time he had tried to start a conversation with another person.

Vincent was rather glad he didn't have to leave from behind the counter, though it would be seen he couldn't exactly walk eventually. He started to erase the words from the board after the other said he needed no help. He was actually rather glad he didn't have to help for once but did give a slight jump at being asked if he normally worked there. Usually little was asked about him but none the less started to write onto the board.
"Yeah. My sister owns the shop."
He held the board up again, the bright blue of the marker clear as day. He almost used the board to cover his face up as he just felt awkward talking to the stranger.

He looked at the other boy and read what he wrote on his white board and just smiled some. He went back to looking through the racks of cloths again. He felt alittle awkward talking to another person, he usually was very quite and shy around people. He took out his white Ipad and stylus, looking up at the cloths and started to write something down on the tablet.
A sudden thought had come to his mind and he wanted to get it written down. He was busy working on a song and he didn't quite understand why looking at cloths suddenly gave him this inspiration to finish his song, but he was thankful.
He looked back to the boy and asked. Do you go to school....you look kinda of familiar. He said.

Vincent gave a tiny spark of a smile at seeing the other smile at him. He was still clearly on edge as he erased his board once more. He watched with curious eyes as the boy looked to be taking notes. It was rather interesting for Vincent to see someone using one of the tablets of sorts before he was asked about school. He blinked confused before starting to write.
"I go to high school around here. Maybe you've seen struggling with getting to my classes."
Vincent had found the only real downside to going to the school was that it was always overly cluttered in the halls. It was hard enough for him to move around with his new lack of legs, let along trying to get through large crowds in a bulky wheelchair.

Hunter thought he had seen this boy before and then remembered that he was the boy that was in a wheel chair. People always stared and whispered when he was struggling down the hallway, course Hunter never stared at the other or even gossiped since he was to much of a outcast to be involved with any circle of friends.
Oh I didn't know you worked here. He said and smiled.

Vincent could tell that it clicked in the other's mind who he was the instant he mentioned his daily struggle. The illusionist had already come to terms with his inability to walk but at the same time he still couldn't help to feel saddened when people remembered him for that reason. He cleaned his dry erase board once more before writing out something.
"I usually stay in my sister's office or up in my room. this is the first time I've had to work without my sister here."
He looked to give a small chuckle but the sound that left his lips was very faint and cough-like. He showed the board to the other before clearing it again when the other had finished reading. he started to write again, his first real question since this had started.
"So what is your name?"

He read off what the other had written on the board and just nodded. He didn't have a job and was just waiting for the day when he turned eighteen so he didn't have to be in the foster care system anymore. Must be nice having some family. He said and smiled.
He read what the other wrote down next and said. I'm Hunter, you? He asked.

Vincent blinked slightly confused at the other saying it must be nice to have family. He had his sisters and his aunts but it was a bit of a chaotic family he could still love to death. He didn't want to even dwell on the thought of not having his sister around when he learned the boy's name was Hunter. He ended up giving another of his faint chuckles again before explaining.
"I wrote out my name earlier. I'm Vincent."
A more lively smile was starting to creep across his face, the witch slowly starting to grow more comfortable with communicating with the other.

He blushed some when the other mentioned that he had wrote down his name earlier. He must have forgotten or something, seeing as Vincent wrote instead of actually talking. Sorry must have looked over it. He said.
He sigh softly and scratched the back of his head somewhat nervously. He had never had a conversation with another person, much less someone who was around his own age. He grew comfortable talking to, which was a feeling that was foreign to him.

Vincent didn't mind that the other had overlooked his name. It wasn't every day that someone had a conversation with a mute of sorts like the illusionist. He started to write again, making sure to keep the print clean and not start writing like he did his calligraphy practice.
"It's okay. I know it must be strange having to talk to someone that has to write what they want to say. Not that many in this town seem to know sign language so this is what i have to resort to."
He still had a pleasant expression on his face but did start to pick up on Hunter seeming to be just as nervous as himself.

It was alittle odd for him to be talking to someone who just wrote things out, he didn't think less of the other but it was very odd for him. Course he barely talked to anyone, so maybe Vincent writing out what he wanted to say wasn't as strange to him as it would be to people who actually did socialize.
He just smiled some, seeing Vincent as nervous as he was. It made him feel better anyway that Vincent was just as nervous as he was. To be honest I don't talk to alot of people....your really the first person I have talked to.....and had a conversation with. He said.

Vincent was a little shocked that he of all people was the first that Hunter had really talked to. Normally conversation was avoided with him in any form but this was a bit of a stun for him. He quickly wiped the board clean and doing his best to keep the handwriting as neat as possible as he wrote with his maker quickly.
"That is a bit of a shock. Usually people try to avoid talking to me, but youre the first in a while to try to. If my using the white board is awkward i can switch to the speech device on my phone. It sounds a little strange but some people like it better than my writing."
The amount of text he had on the board was a sure sign he was still nervous of chatting with the other. He pulled at the collar of his turtleneck for a moment, his mind starting to wonder when his sister would return from her meeting with the council.
